Telluride

After Moab, we drove straight through the night to Telluride, Colorado to stay with one of Ty's friends from Boulder that has since moved there. She lives in a condo at the base of the ski resort and it is only a 3 minute walk to the ski lift. Talk about cool! She teaches spanish at this private school and she gets to take her kids to Hawaii and backpacking in southern Utah as field trips!

The next morning, we found out they have the world's only free gondola ride and it takes you across the mountain to Mountain Village for free.

Talk about beautiful!
