Elderado Canyon

Once we got to Boulder, Ty had a meeting at the school, so we decided to walk to campus to see the University. There were many old, brightly colored houses that apparently cost a small fortune to own on the way.
The "Buff"s football stadium:Boulder is full of environmentall thinking people. Instead of "garbage" they call those bin "Landfill" to remind you that what you throw in there goes straight to the landfill. Even in the lunchroom, they have compost bins and numerous recycle bins.

We also went to this little park in downtown Boulder and the kids got to feed the ducks. This is the place Jacob was taken to go kayaking when he was a newborn right after the hospital.

Ty & Cambria took us to see Elderado Canyon near their house.
a little cave on the hike:

Boulder has mountain close by they call the "Flat irons" because it looks like a tilted irons in a row.
We drove up the mountain to see the flatirons up close. Here is Boulder:
Donny & Ty would like to rapell off the backsides of the flatirons because they just jet up into the air.
Cool city!
