Sad

About a week ago when I got to work, I heard that someone had went over the overpass and landed upside down on the ramp I go on everyday. Here is the story:

KSL article here

My co-worker and I have been thinking about this lady all week. It just hit home because it happened so close to us, but also because she came into my work several times within days of the accident.

Well today her widowed husband came in. My co-worker and I just wanted to cry right then and there. What do you say to a man that is experiencing such tragedy? I told him that we had been thinking about her everyday of this past week. My co-worker offered him her condolences. He went on his way.

Why must we suffer so in life? There are daily reminders to be thankful for what we do have.

My co-workers and I asked each other the question, if you could turn back your life and start over again, when would you start it over? We all thought about it, but by the end we all concluded that we wouldn't want to start over and we didn't want to make it so that we didn't have trials or tragedy, but that we would stay right where we are, in this present point in time, because through all of it, we like how our lives are and we like who we've become from our experiences, our joys, and our tragedies. And we've become the people that our trials have made us and we are stronger by them.

The Lord told Joseph Smith, "and all these things shall give thee experience and shall be for thy good."
